Hi all! I’ve decided to part with my amazinglydelicious ThinkTank Airport International v 2.0. I (and everyone else) simply cannot say enough fantastic things about this camera case.
HOW DID I USE IT?
When I worked on-location and in my studio, I stored ALL of my equipment in this bag. It’s so, so secure and sturdy. When it was time to go on a shoot, I’d just pop it in the back of my TrailBlazer and work out of it. If I was at the studio or at a client’s home I’d bring it in, lie it open on the floor and use it like a toolkit. If I was outside, I’d just leave it in my open hatch and do the same.
It’s great because it stores EVERYTHING I have: Canon 5D, Canon 5Dii, 70-200 2.8, 85mm 1.8, 50mm 1.2, 24-70 2.8, 100mm 2.8 macro, 580 EXii flash, diffusers, bouncers, batteries, chargers…I literally stored my ENTIRE camera equipment collection in this bag.
WHY AM I SELLING IT?
In a nutshell, I don’t shoot newborns, kids and families on-location anymore. When I shoot now, I take one body and 1 or 2 lenses and don’t need to take my entire kit with me. Sooo…it’s been tucked away in a box since we moved and I’d rather have someone else make good use of it – they’re expensive cases (with good reason), so this is the chance for someone to pick one up at a good price.
WHAT CONDITION IS IT IN?
Outer, inner, front, pockets, dividers, etc. like new. I baby my things and it’s pretty much exactly as it came from the manufacturer. It’s never been outside, in the dirt, rained on or any other nastiness. I’ve never even taken it on a plane. Just house – to car – to house.
The only scratches are on the hard plastic ‘bumpers’ on the backside and feet – which is where you expect wear to be, as it keeps the rest of the bag like new. This is simply due to my sliding it around on my wood studio floor. You can see the wear in the pictures below – it doesn’t affect the case at all, and even a new bag would have the same after using it once, methinks.
It comes with everything – locks, book, etc. which were never used and are still stashed in their original pockets.
I found a couple pictures online of it filled with equipment:
